once that's done, if it creates a top-level folder (ie.unzip the file there, to see how it's archived.download plugins to some "Downloadsplugin name" folder on your harddrive.I do like the sound of your Greebler PlugIn - is that coming soon? I'd like to try that out. I went for the Ivy Grower one because I'd used the other version, and thought it would be nice to have it with C4D. I haven't got that plugin, but it's a thought certainly. That's why I checked here first, (did do a search on plugins but there's such a lot with that word in Rendo, it's hard to narrow it down.Īnd InterPoser Pro helps with poser files, yes? I don't use Poser much but sometimes it's necessary.

No no, that's fine, I haven't unzipped any folders yet simply because RipTide said to copy zip to plugins folder and unzip in there, (which I have done) and so I wondered about the others, therefore I hadn't unzipped so couldn't yet read any instructions - that's a problem with instructions for unzipping that sit inside the zip - lol!Īnyway I had sort of wondered about keeping plugins separate, to avoid mess. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg In this case, you can extract the zip with folder hierarchy to the plugins folder but you should then move the KuroyumeDZ folder out to be as above and delete the now empty 'Cinema 4D Rxx' folder.įoot.

InterPoser Pro has a deeper folder hierarchy in the zip file because some users were downloading more than one version of the plugin and that caused confusion. If all of the plugin res folders are mixed you would have at best a mess, at worst a bunch of nonfunctioning or nonregistering plugins.Įxcept for interPoser Pro, the topmost folder, KuroyumeDZ, should be just underneath the plugins folder (folder hierarchy): Each plugin usually has a 'res' folder which contains its descriptions and strings (and other resources). You don't want to have your plugins just mixed up at the 'plugins' folder level.
